Our counselling room is conveniently located in central Chelmsford next to the famous Army & Navy roundabout. Moulsham Mill is a beautiful Grade II listed building, with the current structure dating back to at least 1819. The unique layout of the building ensures a very discrete and quiet setting for your counselling, but does provide some challenges with regards to access. Please see below for more information.

Please be aware that our counselling room is located on the second floor, up a narrow, steep staircase with no lift access. We regret to inform potential clients that we advise that access to our usual room is not advisable for those with limited or reduced mobility. 

For those that might find access to our usual room difficult we have a number of options available. Please contact us for more details and to discuss your particular requirements.   

Travel south along Parkway (A138) as if heading towards the Army & Navy roundabout and Moulsham Mill can be found on your left, behind B&M Bargains and Aldi Supermarket.  

Please note that there is no access to Moulsham Mill from the north bound carriageway of Parkway. If arriving from this direction, please double-back on yourself at the Meadows Shopping Centre roundabout and follow the instructions above.

There is ample free parking available on the Moulsham Mill site. 

If your session is during normal office hours (Monday - Friday, 9.00am - 5.00pm) it is important you remember to register your vehicle with reception. Unauthorised users of the car park risk receiving a penalty charge. 

Moulsham Mill is just a 2 minute walk from the nearest bus stop to and from Chelmsford City Centre/Railway Station. 

It is also conveniently located on the direct bus route for Danbury, Bicknacre, Maldon, South Woodham, Boreham, Oxney Green, Witham, Hatfield Peveral, Kelvedon, Marks Tey and Colchester.

Alight the bus at the 'Chelmsford Army & Navy' stop (either heading SE bound away from Chelmsford City Centre, or NW bound towards Chelmsford City Centre); the Mill is a 2 minute walk away, behind B&M Bargains and Aldi Supermarket. The bus stop is served by the following bus routes:

If your appointment is during normal office hours (Monday - Friday, 9.00am - 5.00pm) then please report to the main reception on arrival (see below). They will advise your counsellor that you have arrived. Moulsham Mill has a lovely cafe* on the ground floor should you arrive early for your session. 

If your appointment is outside normal office hours you will be asked to let your counsellor know when you arrive so that you can be met and escorted from the 'outside office hours' entrance (see below) to the counselling room. Full details will be provided in your welcome email.
